Moeckel Pond is home to many aquatic creatures. For over two centuries, a variety of fish, turtles, frogs, and snakes lived here. While some of the ducks, geese, herons, osprey, beavers, and otters still call Moeckel Pond home, most of the aquatic creatures were forced to find new homes when the pond was drained. We excitedly anticipate the return of the aquatic life once the water in the pond is restored.
